I played around again with the basics of the lesson by Emma Petitt, and created this piece.  I am happy with how she turned out.  I will put her in my etsy shop and sell her in support of SEVA.  Thanks again  :)

The Gooner

This piece was commissioned by a friend, for a friend of hers whose dog has recently passed.  I hope she loves it  :)  It is 5 x 7 inches, acrylic and gesso on vintage paper that has been mounted to canvas board.  All proceeds will be donated to the SPCA.  Thanks again  :)

Lucy (Big Brushes)

I just finished a free online lesson by artist Emma Petitt-- this is the result.  I really struggled because I don't usually paint faces, and I don't use big brushes.  I am pleased with how it has turned out.  It is 11 x 14 inches, acrylic on mixed media paper.  It is being sold in support of whatever Canadian charity the purchaser chooses.  Thanks for stopping by  :)
