Pondering Trees

I had fun creating this out of strips of my watercolor paintings, plaster and acrylic.  I like the movement and the colors in the piece.  Shortly I will list it in my etsy shop in support of SEVA.  Thanks for taking a look  :)

A Sweet and Simple Song

I had fun creating this plaster and ink painting on vellum and mounting it on a 100 year old cedar shake.  Vellum is a little tricky to work with as the paper shifts and shrinks when it comes in contact with anything wet like paint.  I am happy to have a spring time piece to offer up for sale for SEVA.  Thanks for taking a look  :)

The Impression of Trees

The photo doesn't really do this one justice, but I had to find a spot on my walls that I could hide a couple of extra nail holes  :)  I like how this turned out, even when it decided that it needed to be a bit troublesome and become a diptych.  Plaster, watercolor painting strips, acrylic paint and a few other bits have created a nice texture.  I am pleased to be offering this for sale for SEVA as well, and am happy to report that I just sold 2 more smaller pieces on ebay.  As always, thanks for looking  :)

Sheep Dreams

A little playful something created from the paint palette of a dear artist friend, Heather Brewster.  A lot of plaster, a little graphite, a little paint and some lace, and there you have it-- a little something I hope to sell in support of SEVA (a charity that restores eyesight to people in developing countries).  Thanks sooo much for dropping by  :)

Landscape of the Heart I

I really had fun with this too :)  I have added plaster and lace to the palette board of my dear friend, Heather Brewster.  From there it was sanding, painting, scribbling, smearing and coating.  Snapped a few pics, and voila-- another piece ready to go in support of SEVA.  Thanks for stopping by  :)

Getting Plastered I

I really had fun with this one!  It all started with the paint palette of a dear artist friend, Heather Brewster.  She suggested that we cocreate a couple of pieces.  I added some plaster to the wooden palette, and then this little miss evolved.  She told me that she is done, so I have plastered another board for Heather to play with.  I do love texture, so will mess around with the plaster some more.  She will also be for sale in support of SEVA.org   Thanks for dropping by  :)

Horsing Around

"Horsing Around" in the New Year.  Happy 2013!  I can't believe it has taken me so long to finally get another little piece finished...  Where does the time go?  At any rate, this whimsical little fellow has been added to my etsy store LeanneE to help raise some more money for SEVA.org  Thanks so much for dropping in to have a look!
