Deer Abstracted

WOW-- I can't believe that it has been over a year since I did anything creative...  We got caught up in renovations, and were displaced for quite awhile.  I have only recently started unpacking again.  I started this piece over the summer and it seems to have found its way  :)  I will be either donating it, or selling it in support of Medical Mercy or SEVA.  So thankful to be able to support these wonderful charities!  Thanks so much for stopping by  :)

Best Buds

This is the first ATC (artist trading card) swap I have ever joined-- loved the idea that it was Halloween themed.  I will send it off to my trading partner and see what arrives in the mail.  Looking forward to it  :)

Dream Bee

This little sweetie was inspired by watching a tutorial by the super talented Micki Wilde.  From there it evolved into a plaster and collage painting that I started while visiting some dear friends this summer-- it is always a pleasure to spend time creating with these amazing ladies.  This piece will be sold in support of SEVA.  Thanks so much for taking a peek!

Koala Dreams

This fellow makes me smile every time I look at him  :)  This piece started off years ago with figure drawings attached to the canvas board and then textured over with structure gel.  I never got around to finishing it, and the drawings were lost under all the layers, so I went in with some transparent acrylic paint.  From there, I started the painting and then built up the background, including removing some of the paint to peek at the layers below.  Glad that it finally has a voice  :)  This piece will be sold in support of SEVA or Medical Mercy.  Check these charities out if you get a chance  :)

Liberosis

Anyone that knows me knows how much I love texture  :)  This was quite a painstaking process and piece for me, but I am happy with how it turned out.  It is one of my largest pieces and will be sold in support of SEVA or Medical Mercy.  Thank you for your support  :)

Unfinished Business
